Day 9 of Trump's presidency continued with protests across the country. The reason for the protests today was his executive action to ban Muslims from certain countries from entering the United States. As noted by many news organizations, such as NPR and the Washington Post, only those from predominately-Muslim countries Trump has no financial ties to were put on his refugee ban list. People from countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar which have actual links to terrorism attacks in the US, are still allowed here. Massive protests erupted last night in airports around the country as refugees, who were in the air at the time of Trump's signing of the ban, were detained by US Customs.
